Overview In this role you drive land identification, assessment and acquisitions to support NVR's homebuilding communities. You'll lead negotiations, perform sophisticated land use and financial analyses, and guide due diligence across zoning, environmental, utilities and title work. You work autonomously within a cross functional team to align land deals with development objectives and market dynamics. This position offers meaningful impact through strategic site selection and community representation.
Responsibilities- Negotiate land acquisitions with owners to secure prime sites at favorable terms
- Conduct land feasibility studies with marketing and production teams
- Provide accurate development timing and cost analyses for proposed sites
- Collaborate with development team to optimize land use and finished lot efficiency
- Oversee site development elements like local zoning, planning and pricing
- Monitor competitive local home building trends and pricing with marketing
- Arrange lot development and represent NVR in local communities
- Participate in due diligence including concept land planning, environmental, utility, and title analysis
Key requirements- 2-4 years successful land acquisition experience
- Bachelor degree
- Real estate finance experience
- Skilled in land deal structuring
- Background in land planning, zoning, law, and real estate
- Homebuilding industry experience is a plus
