Overview

As a Property Manager for multifamily communities, you drive day-to-day operations to market-ready standards while leading a high-performing team. You oversee budgets, leasing, marketing, and resident services to maximize occupancy, revenue, and reputational strength. You will mentor staff, optimize processes, and model Cushman & Wakefield's mission to be the best national management company. This role blends hands-on management with strategic oversight in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee on-site operations including maintenance, leasing, marketing, budgeting, forecasting, and vendor management
  • Lead and develop a cohesive on-site team to maximize engagement and minimize turnover
  • Drive occupancy and revenue through competitive analysis and creative marketing programs
  • Ensure lease administration, renewals, and compliance with company standards
  • Maintain residents' files and provide superior customer service to enhance satisfaction and renewals
  • Manage budgets and financials for the community and monitor performance against targets
  • Coordinate with leasing staff to meet leasing/marketing goals
  • Model company policies and ensure adherence to procedures across the on-site team
  • Handle conflict resolution and maintain a positive living environment
  • Support recruitment, coaching, and ongoing professional development of staff
Key requirements
  • 3+ years of Property Management experience
  • 3+ years of Management experience
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Experience supervising and developing a team
  • Ability to manage multiple operations in a fast-paced environment
