Overview

In this HRBP role at Black Box, you will align HR programs with the company's mission and strategic objectives. You will partner with management to ensure policy compliance, labor law adherence, and effective employee relations across a large construction-oriented workforce. You will analyze HR data to shape strategies and coordinate with HR peers to maintain consistency. You will influence decisions on compensation, investigations, and performance management, contributing to a fair, high-performing workplace. This role offers impact across a global technology solutions provider with a strong emphasis on ownership and collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Understand the organization's mission and align HR programs with objectives
  • Ensure policy and regulatory compliance in decision-making
  • Ensure labor law compliance with management
  • Process personnel actions (hires, promotions, terminations) and maintain records
  • Provide counsel on investigations, performance management, progressive discipline, and exit interviews
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and implement fair solutions
  • Analyze HR data to develop strategies and outcomes
  • Coordinate with HR counterparts for consistency of programs
  • Review compensation recommendations with managers and address issues
  • May be involved in negotiations of collective bargaining agreements
  • Other duties as assigned
Key requirements
  • Bachelor in Human Resources or related field; equivalent experience as acceptable
  • Minimum 5 years of HR Generalist or HRBP experience
  • Experience managing a workforce in a construction environment
  • HR professional certification preferred
  • Understanding of change management and risk mitigation
  • Experience handling employee relations and sound judgment in these matters
  • Strong problem-solving, organization, and time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication and facilitation skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, SharePoint, and HR software
