Overview

As Founding HRBP at Factory, you partner with leaders to design scalable org structures and people processes that support rapid growth post-Series C. You'll help build the HRBP backbone-playbooks, frameworks, and governance-while delivering hands-on support. This role blends strategic design with day-to-day HR operations, enabling data-driven decisions and a strong employee experience. You'll shape performance, compensation, and development programs, leveraging AI tools to optimize how we work and scale. You'll be a trusted partner who drives impact across the organization and grows the HR function from its foundations.

Responsibilities
  • Advise leaders on org design, workforce planning, and growth strategies as the company scales.
  • Own headcount planning and ensure data integrity for client groups.
  • Develop and implement playbooks and frameworks for org design, performance calibration, compensation cycles, and career ladders.
  • Serve as advisor on employee relations, coaching, policy issues, and escalations.
  • Coach leaders on performance, feedback, and people leadership; foster trust and transparency.
  • Contribute to L&D, People Programs, and Total Rewards initiatives.
  • Manage end-to-end performance reviews and compensation cycles for client groups; ensure calibration and clear communication.
  • Adopt and integrate AI tools (including Factory's own product) to enhance operations and workflows.
  • Balance strategic design with hands-on execution, maintaining durable systems while handling day-to-day load.
Key requirements
  • 8+ years of HR experience with a strong HRBP/People Partner track in high-growth tech environments
  • Strong business acumen and credibility with functional leaders
  • Curious, problem-solver mindset focused on root causes
  • Employee-focused approach when designing systems and processes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels
  • Comfort with strategic and hands-on work in a dynamic setting
