EVS Associate or Senior Associate Real Estate Valuation

Overview

In this role you will support independent valuations of assets and help clients understand value through real estate market analysis and data-driven insights. You will work with cross-functional teams across local, national, and international engagements, presenting results clearly and aligning with GAAP, tax, and regulatory requirements. You'll interact directly with clients and market participants to gather data and refine value conclusions, contributing to a collaborative culture that prioritizes professional development and impact.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and measure asset values through independent, well-supported valuations
  • Conduct real estate market analyses across local, national, and international scopes using standard valuation approaches
  • Gather engagement data via client interactions and interviews with market participants
  • Review industry surveys, economic and demographic trends to inform conclusions
  • Prepare and present analysis results, assist in proposals and executive presentations
  • Apply value conclusions consistent with GAAP, tax, and regulatory rules
  • Senior Associate: supervise and mentor interns and associates
Key requirements
  • Minimum one year of CRE valuation, loan underwriting, acquisition orDisposition due diligence experience; asset management experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, economics, finance, business administration or related field
  • Familiarity with Discounted Cash Flow modeling in ARGUS and Excel preferred
  • Interest in pursuing the MAI designation and a General Appraiser State Certification
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and collaborate in a team environment
  • Senior Associate: minimum two years of CRE valuation or related experience; asset management experience preferred
