A-Line Staffing is now hiring Fulfillment Pharmacy Technicians in Canal Winchester, OH. Multiple shift options available. The Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.
Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician Compensation: pay is $19/hr. Benefits after 90 days. 401(k) w/ match after 1 year.
Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician Schedule options:
- 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM Thurs-Mon (Tues, Wed off) - 5 positions
- 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM Sun-Thurs (Fri, Sat off) - 2 positions
- 3:30 PM - 1:30 AM Tues-Fri (Sat, Sun, Mon off) - 5 positions
- 3:30 PM - 1:30 AM Sun, Mon, Thu, Fri (Tues, Wed, Sat off) - 5 positions
- 3:30 PM - 1:30 AM Sun-Wed (Thu, Fri, Sat off) - 5 positions
Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities:
- Provide order processing support for prescription fulfillment using the fulfillment system
- Process new patient registration by entering data into the appropriate system
- Handle prescription requests within HIPAA guidelines; enter refill orders for processing
- Troubleshoot missing prescription information and interpret SIG codes/medical abbreviations
- Resolve data entry related exceptions
- Run automated machinery; sort medications; move inventory through workflow stages with quality control focus
- Count and fill prescriptions; affix labels; pack and ship orders
- Clean/maintain machinery and maintain an orderly work area
- Resolve Third Party Rejects (review, correct, and resubmit per plan requirements)
- Provide assistance to pharmacists (onsite and at other locations)
- Identify and communicate issues to senior staff as needed
- Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician Requirements:
- Ohio Pharmacy Technician license/registration required
- Basic PC skills (open/close programs, save/print, navigate online)
- Basic internet/search engine skills (browser navigation, bookmarks, online forms)
- Intermediate keyboarding skills (25 WPM minimum)
- Able to push/pull/grasp/lift and carry up to 50 lbs (with or without reasonable accommodation)
- 18 years of age or older
- High School Diploma/GED
- Attendance mandatory first 90 days
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active PTCB (CPhT) or ExCPT certification
- 6 months-2+ years of pharmacy technician experience (retail or fulfillment)
