Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 7:30 AM-3:30 PM (Sunday and Monday off)
Pay Rate: $19.00/hour

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician Fulfillment professional to support prescription processing and the preparation and distribution of medications. This onsite role involves entering prescription information, resolving insurance billing issues, operating fulfillment equipment, and assisting pharmacists while maintaining accuracy, quality, and patient confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities
- Process new patient registrations and enter patient demographics and prescription information into the appropriate systems.
- Handle prescription requests and refill orders in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Research missing prescription information, interpret medical abbreviations (SIG codes), and resolve prescription data-entry exceptions.
- Investigate and resolve third-party insurance claim rejections by reviewing information, making corrections, and resubmitting claims.
- Assist with inbound and outbound calls to patients and healthcare providers as needed.
- Operate automated fulfillment machinery, sort medications, and move inventory through workflow stages while maintaining quality control.
- Count and fill prescriptions, affix labels, package medications, and prepare shipments.
- Clean and maintain equipment and keep the work area organized.
- Support pharmacists and escalate prescription-related questions or processing issues to the appropriate staff.
- Follow standard operating procedures and maintain patient confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license/registration required, in good standing.
- Ability to maintain an active technician license or certification with at least 6-12 months remaining before expiration.
- Basic computer skills, including navigating programs, saving files, printing documents, and accessing online information.
- Basic internet and search engine navigation skills.
- Keyboarding speed of at least 25 words per minute, with touch-typing ability.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to perform physical tasks involving pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting, including carrying up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to work the assigned shift and adapt to operational needs.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active PTCB (CPhT) or ExCPT certification.
- At least 6 months to 2 years of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or fulfillment environment.
- Experience with prescription data entry, insurance claim rejections, medication fulfillment, or pharmacy automation equipment.
