Pharmacy Technician
Location: Canal Winchester, OH 43110 (On-site)
Pay: $19.00/hr (W2)
Schedule: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM Tuesday-Saturday (Sunday & Monday off)
Duration: 6 months (Temp-to-hire for the right candidate)

Overview
A-Line Staffing is now hiring a Pharmacy Technician 1 in Canal Winchester, OH. This is an on-site role supporting prescription fulfillment operations (controlled pharmacy environment / HIPAA).
What You'll Do
- Process prescription exceptions (including claim rejects) and complete required outreach
- Enter patient/member demographics and prescription info into the system
- Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and escalated member concerns
- Assist with inbound/outbound calls with patients and physicians as needed
- Run automated machinery; sort medications and move inventory through workflow stages (quality focused)
- Count and fill prescriptions; apply labels; pack and ship orders
- Resolve third-party rejects by reviewing, correcting, and resubmitting per plan requirements
- Support pharmacists and escalate questions/issues appropriately
- Maintain a clean, orderly work area and help maintain equipment
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician license/registration (good standing)
- 0-2 years of pharmacy technician experience (retail or fulfillment preferred)
- Basic PC skills; ability to work across multiple programs
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs (with or without reasonable accommodation)
- Must be 18+ and fluent in English (read/write/speak)
Preferred
- Active PTCB (CPhT) or ExCPT certification
- 6 months-2 years of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or fulfillment environment
