Responsibilities- Lead client engagements covering service delivery, strategy, financial evaluations, plan design, renewals, placement, benchmarking, and related underwriting activities for health and welfare programs
- Review junior staff analyses for actuarial soundness and coach their development
- Embrace and promote AI and technology-enabled tools in daily work
- Perform and review complex cost projections using Excel, SAS, and other software, with possible domain specialization in healthcare-related insurance
- Draft and review client reports or presentations to summarize findings and propose strategies or solutions
Key requirements- BA/BS degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, finance, economics, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years' actuarial experience with health and benefits consulting
- Progress toward ASA designation
