Overview As R&D Strategy Manager, you will lead innovation and new product development for panelboards and switchboards. You will manage a team of engineers, ensure sound design practices and regulatory compliance, and drive cross-functional collaboration. You'll shape project scopes, schedules, and budgets, while mentoring engineers and aligning efforts with the broader Siemens mission of sustainable progress. Responsibilities- Lead innovation and new product development for panelboards and switchboards
- Manage a team of 5-9 engineers and provide technical support
- Ensure design practices, PLM steps, and regulatory compliance
- Coach and develop team members, support succession planning
- Plan and manage projects: scope, schedule, costs; coordinate tasks and deadlines
- Oversee budget planning, cost centers, resource planning, and CAPEX
- Facilitate cross-department alignment and stakeholder communication
- Recommend process improvements and team optimizations
- Support internal and external customers with product and technical expertise
Key requirements- Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering
- 10+ years in engineering, product development, or R&D
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and teams
- Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of DFM, DFA, product design, and concept testing
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Travel less than 25%
