Overview As a Project Architect, you lead multi-family and higher education projects from concept through completion. You work with a dynamic team to deliver innovative, sustainable designs while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance. You engage with clients, prepare documentation, and supervise on-site construction activities to keep projects on track. This role blends design leadership with hands-on project management in an on-site environment, offering growth in a collaborative, innovative firm.
Responsibilities- Lead design efforts for multi-family and higher education projects
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to meet project goals
- Develop detailed documentation including plans, elevations, and specifications
- Ensure compliance with codes, regulations, and sustainability standards
- Manage timelines and budgets with efficient resource allocation
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance
- Participate in construction administration, including site visits and contractor coordination
- Utilize advanced software tools for design and project management tasks
Key requirements- Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.)
- Minimum 6 years of experience in architectural design and project management
- Registered Architect certification is preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp
- Experience with multi-family and higher education projects
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and sustainability practices
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
