Overview In this role you influence Azure's network strategy by evaluating multi-billion-dollar investments in infrastructure and hardware. You partner across Finance, Engineering, and Capacity Planning to align capital allocation with long-term growth. You deliver data-driven business cases and executive insights that shape network capacity, resiliency, and efficiency. This position offers impact at scale within a mission-driven, collaborative environment. You will be at the intersection of finance, engineering, and strategy, driving transformation in a critical global infrastructure area.
Responsibilities- Shape long-term network investment strategy and translate Cloud/AI growth into large-scale capex decisions
- Collaborate with Engineering, Capacity Planning, and Sourcing to align roadmaps with demand and growth goals
- Develop business cases, scenario analyses, and investment frameworks to optimize capacity, resiliency, and capital efficiency
- Lead cross-functional initiatives influencing network strategy, AI-enabled automation, and scalable deployment
- Provide executive-level insights and recommendations to Finance and Engineering leaders on strategy and resource allocation
- Act as trusted strategic advisor identifying emerging technologies to enhance scalability and return on capital
Key requirements- Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field with 2+ years of financial analysis/finance experience OR Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience
- 1+ year experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles
- 1+ year experience in matrix-based organizations
