Overview As Senior Accounting Manager for Data Center Infrastructure, you lead controllership for data center fixed assets and operations, ensuring robust controls and scalable accounting for a multi-billion-dollar portfolio. You will partner with global stakeholders to enable accurate financial planning and decision-making within Microsoft's cloud infrastructure initiative. The role combines process improvement, policy guidance, and automation opportunities to drive efficiency. You will work in a growth-minded, collaborative culture shaping the future of our cloud accounting systems.
Responsibilities- Prepare month-end close deliverables for datacenter fixed asset and operations accounting to ensure policy compliance
- Resolve inquiries, deviations, and data anomalies from business partners
- Perform gap analyses and implement financial controls in line with Sarbanes-Oxley
- Advise on new business arrangements and contracts for proper accounting alignment
- Contribute to process-improvement efforts and identify automation opportunities
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to meet regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements
- Partner with Finance and Operations to provide accounting guidance for decision-making and planning
Key requirements- Master's Degree in Business, Accounting /Finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting /Finance, or related field AND 4+ years accounting or finance experience
- Professional accounting certification such as CPA or equivalent
- Controllership experience in large multinational companies with multi-currency transactions
- Advanced skills in Excel and Power BI
- Large-scale ERP experience (e.g., SAP)
