Overview In this role you support financial review and investigative accounting on-site in Seattle. You'll examine complex records, organize large transaction data, and produce clear reporting for legal and financial matters. You work closely with attorneys, trustees, and teammates to clarify activity, resolve inconsistencies, and deliver well-supported analyses that aid investigations and litigation. The position emphasizes collaboration, meticulous data handling, and rigorous documentation to support forensic accounting assignments.
Responsibilities- Examine financial records to identify patterns, irregularities, and key details
- Rebuild account activity by entering and classifying transactions in Excel-based schedules
- Request and assess documentation from trustees, institutions, and outside sources
- Detect gaps and inconsistencies across documentation and flag follow-up items
- Perform account reconciliations and transaction-level reviews across sources
- Prepare schedules, summaries, and investigative reporting translating findings into deliverables
- Maintain organized workpapers for litigation-related and forensic assignments
- Record time and monitor project activity for invoicing and engagement management
- Collaborate with attorneys, trustees, and team members on investigations and reporting objectives
- Work on-site five days per week in Seattle to support collaboration
