Overview In this Senior Finance Manager, Cloud Accounting role, you design and execute the accounting processes for Microsoft's Cloud Supply Chain, managing a multi-billion asset portfolio and influencing system design and controls. You partner with finance, tax, treasury, sourcing and operations to optimize accounting for cloud infrastructure and fixed assets, while ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting and compliant close processes. You will drive scalable solutions, provide insights for forecasting and planning, and work with cross-functional teams to enable robust controllership and reporting.

- Design and execute scalable accounting and reporting solutions for stakeholders
- Partner with finance to provide guidance for accounting and asset management in planning processes
- Contribute to Cloud Controllership and Enablement with a high-performing team
- Ensure GAAP/IFRS and SOX compliance and safeguard assets
- Collaborate with global stakeholders to meet regulatory and audit requirements
- Build and manage close partnerships with Engineering, Operations, Finance, and Business

Key requirements- Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field and 2+ years in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance OR Bachelor's and 4+ years OR equivalent experience
- 1+ year experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles
- 1+ year experience in matrix-based organizations
- 1+ year experience in technology or software industry
- MBA and/or CPA preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP, Internal Controls, and SOX
- Demonstrated systems and process improvement experience
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and deadlines
