Overview

In this role you will lead a team of architects to deliver complex construction documents and manage day-to-day project administration. You will build trusted client relationships, mentor junior staff, and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure design solutions meet program and code requirements. Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of architects to complete technical documents for complex projects
  • Prepare, coordinate, and finalize construction documents packages
  • Oversee construction administration activities and coordinate with contractor, owner, and consultants
  • Mentor and oversee junior staff
  • Establish and execute project work plan and staffing
  • Develop trusted client relationships
  • Participate in recruiting and performance management
  • Meet with owners and user groups to determine program and planning requirements
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience with medium to large-sized senior living and/or residential projects
  • LEED AP and Architectural Registration preferred
  • Working knowledge of engineering systems and multi-disciplinary coordination
  • Strong communication with clients and ability to build trust
  • Excellent mentoring, written and verbal communication and organizational skills
  • High proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Experience leading other architects and project teams
  • Understanding of code implementation, jurisdiction review, and construction practices
