Overview As Tax Manager, you will support U.S. GAAP tax provisions for Expedia Group's international operations and partner with Global Finance to ensure timely, accurate reporting. You'll analyze foreign tax credits, Subpart F, and related international tax aspects, while maintaining audit-ready documentation. You'll translate tax changes into actionable leadership recommendations and drive AI-enabled improvements in tax processes. This role sits at the intersection of Tax and Finance, enabling strategic decisions across global entities and business initiatives.

Responsibilities- Support quarterly and year-end U.S. GAAP tax provisions for international operations
- Calculate and analyze foreign tax credits, FDDEI deductions, Subpart F and NCTI inclusions, and Section 987 gains and losses
- Review book-to-tax differences related to international operations
- Review U.S. international tax forms (Forms 1118, 5471, 8858, 8865, 8990, 8992)
- Support international components of U.S. federal income tax audits and inquiries
- Maintain audit-ready workpapers, documentation, and financial records
- Provide tax support for international transactions including mergers & acquisitions and reorganizations
- Monitor tax legislation and translate changes into recommendations for leadership
- Drive AI-enabled process improvements and adoption of new tax technology tools
- Maintain process documentation, strengthen controls, and contribute to tax reporting transformation initiatives
- Build effective partnerships across Tax, Finance, and cross-functional teams
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, or related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in a Big Four firm or equivalent environment
- Strong technical knowledge of U.S. international tax, ASC 740, and federal income tax concepts
- Experience supporting tax provisions and compliance activities
- Experience with tax provision and compliance software
- Strong tax research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
