Overview In this role you will advocate for clients to secure favorable outcomes in personal injury matters. You will collaborate with a trauma-informed team, manage client communications, and coordinate with insurers on claims status. You will prepare cases for trial and, when appropriate, try cases to verdict. Responsibilities- Meet with clients to discuss their case and build trust
- Update clients on case progress and liaise with insurance companies regarding claims
- Prepare cases for trial and conduct trials when needed
- Leverage negotiation skills to secure favorable settlements
- Collaborate with a team to support case strategy and advocacy
Key requirements- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- 3 to 5 years of Personal Injury litigation experience
- Member of the Illinois Bar and in good standing
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Experience evaluating claims
- Superb negotiation skills
