Innovation Attorney - Litigation

Overview

In this role you will align innovative legal technologies with litigation workflows, leveraging GenAI, data analytics, and a full suite of legal tech to boost value, efficiency and insights. You'll serve as a liaison between lawyers, clients and the Technology Department to ensure technology meets practitioner needs. You'll replicate successful innovations across practice groups and drive client-focused AI initiatives. You'll work with cross functional teams to shape practice workflows and stay ahead of tech trends that transform litigation. This is a global, technology driven role with meaningful impact on how we deliver legal services.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with litigation practice groups to optimize delivery of legal services using GenAI and tech resources
  • Replicate successful innovations across teams to amplify impact
  • Configure technologies and create templates or workflows tailored to needs
  • Identify opportunities to enhance tech solutions and coordinate investments with tech teams
  • Serve as client liaison for AI projects and align with client guidelines
  • Support training and outreach to increase adoption of new technologies
  • Coordinate with teams across firm (BD, training, risk, records, etc.) for project delivery
  • Stay informed on trends and report to leadership on tech developments
Key requirements
  • JD or equivalent and admission to the relevant state bar
  • Minimum two years of experience as practicing lawyer or in legal operations; litigation experience
  • Passion for strategic use of innovative technology in litigation at a global law firm
  • Proficiency with technology, legal tech and AI
  • Experience in evaluating and implementing legal tech solutions at scale
  • Knowledge of litigation lifecycle; familiarity with adoption strategies for legal tech tools
  • Strong communication of technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Customer service mindset, problem-solving, team player under pressure
  • Self-starter, detail-oriented, organized, multitasking
