Overview As Mobile App Product Manager, you define and scale the fan-facing mobile product within ConvergeSPORTS, translating fan needs and sports priorities into strategy, workflows, and measurable releases. You own the roadmap, backlog, and success metrics, collaborating with mobile and backend engineers, design, data, and leadership to deliver impactful fan experiences. You will drive discovery, define APIs and data requirements, and guide releases from discovery to post-launch optimization. This role offers ownership, cross-functional collaboration, and the chance to shape AI-enabled mobile experiences at scale.
Responsibilities- Own the Mobile App vision, roadmap, backlog, release plan, and success measures across fan-facing content, identity, engagement, personalization, and commerce experiences
- Conduct fan, client, and stakeholder discovery to define user problems, journeys, data needs, business outcomes, and product priorities
- Create requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, mobile flows, prototypes, data definitions, and measurement plans
- Partner with Mobile Architecture, iOS and Android Engineering, Backend Engineering, Data, and Design to sequence work and resolve tradeoffs
- Define required APIs, identity, event data, content, notification, personalization, and measurement capabilities with Engineering and Data partners
- Lead backlog grooming, sprint reviews, demonstrations, release readiness, App Store or Play Store coordination, and post-launch evaluation
- Balance market needs with reusable architecture, shared components, configuration, and mobile product scalability
- Track adoption, engagement, retention, experience quality, data quality, implementation effort, and commercial feedback
- Develop product narratives, demo flows, sales enablement materials, and roadmap communications for the Mobile App
- Define AI-native or agentic mobile experiences using trusted data, clear permissions, evaluation criteria, and human review points
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- 5+ years in product management, analytics, or digital product delivery
- 3+ years managing roadmaps/backlogs/user stories/releases/product metrics for software or analytics products
- 2+ years collaborating with mobile engineering, design, data, BI, AI/ML, or analytics teams
- Experience defining mobile requirements, data needs, metrics, event schemas, APIs, or analytical outputs
- Experience with Agile tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Productboard) for at least 1 year
- Experience delivering at least one product capability from discovery to production release and post-launch measurement
- Ability to travel up to 25%
