Overview In this role you will perform hands-on laboratory analysis and reporting for crude oils, fuels, and petrochemicals, ensuring accurate results and compliance with safety and reporting standards. You will lead and train laboratory personnel, operate GC and other equipment, and uphold SGS's commitment to quality and integrity. Responsibilities- Perform bench-level laboratory analysis on petrochemical samples
- Operate Gas Chromatograph and other lab equipment
- Ensure adherence to laboratory safety and reporting procedures
- Guide and train Laboratory Technicians, including potential supervisory duties
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of analysis methods and ASTM standards
- Contribute to accurate data reporting and problem-solving under pressure
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related science (preferred) or equivalent experience with at least 1 year in a laboratory
