Overview In this role you manage insurance coverage litigation for the Company across lines of business, shaping strategy with external counsel and key stakeholders. You collaborate with underwriting, finance, actuarial, operations and technology to support broader company initiatives. You stay current on caselaw and trends, report developments to management, and guide coverage questions. You also participate in industry events and help develop teams through training and mentoring.

Responsibilities- Manage a volume of coverage litigation and oversee strategy with counsel
- Oversee discovery, reserves, and interactions with parties
- Represent the Company in mediations, arbitrations, and legal proceedings
- Ensure compliance with litigation hold procedures
- Provide guidance on coverage matters to claims personnel
- Collaborate with underwriting, finance, actuarial, operations and technology on projects
- Prepare claim summaries and reports for management
- Report suits and potential suits to E&O carriers; update carriers quarterly
- Identify and recruit coverage counsel for disputes
- Attend industry conferences and meetings
