Overview In this role you lead the financial consolidation systems that power close, forecast, and planning cycles. You will own consolidation platforms, ensure data integrity, and drive platform readiness in a high pressure production environment. You'll be the bridge between Finance, IT, and analysts, guiding priorities and delivering reliable data delivery. This is a hands on, operational role with a focus on stability and timely close execution, using Essbase as the core platform.

Responsibilities- Own and manage systems supporting the financial consolidation process, ensuring availability, data integrity, and timely execution across close, forecast, and planning cycles
- Serve as primary systems liaison between Finance, application support, technology teams, and business analysts to align priorities and timelines
- Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple systems, cubes, and data validation platforms, including data loads, hierarchy management, and reporting readiness
- Monitor workflows and processing health, identify risks, and drive actions for reliable data delivery
- Lead production incident triage and escalation for consolidation failures, coordinating cross functional resolution and root cause remediation during close periods
- Create and maintain process documentation, runbooks, and stakeholder communications; report on consolidation health, risks, and improvements
- Use Jira for work management, writing epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Demonstrate flexibility to work extended hours during month end and quarter end close periods
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field
- 5 years' experience in Essbase administration or related roles
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Essbase in production environments
- Experience supporting financial consolidation, forecast, and planning cycles from a systems perspective
- Knowledge of multidimensional data concepts (cubes, hierarchies, dimensions) and their impact on outputs
- Experience with data validation and reconciliation for consolidated results
- Proven incident management and root-cause remediation under time constraints
- Strong partnership and communication skills with Finance stakeholders and technology teams
- Experience creating and maintaining runbooks, operational procedures, and control documentation
- Proficiency with Jira for managing work, epics, and user stories
