Overview In this role, you will drive the subcontract lifecycle to support development, production, and global sustainment for defense programs. You'll work within Space's supply chain team to craft terms, assess proposals, and secure agreements that enable mission success. Responsibilities- Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms for procuring specialized materials, equipment, and services
- Prepare bid packages and conduct bidders' conferences, establish evaluation criteria, and analyze proposals
- Negotiate subcontract provisions and select or recommend subcontractors; draft and administer subcontracts
- Prepare awards and administer resulting subcontracts; manage changes to subcontracts
- Negotiate additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts
- Collaborate with contracts administration and purchasing to develop subcontract policies and procedures
- May sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within authorized scope
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years in Supply Chain Management (procurement, subcontract administration, negotiation, etc.)
- Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
- Relationship-building with peers, leadership, and suppliers
- Positive, collaborative team player
- Knowledge of DoD procurement processes and regulations (FAR, DFAR, TINA, ITAR)
- Experience with FAR/DFAR
- SAP or other ERP software proficiency
