Responsibilities- Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms for procurement of materials, equipment, and services across multiple contract types
- Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders' conferences, and develop evaluation criteria
- Analyze proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions, select or recommend subcontractors, and administer subcontracts
- Negotiate changes to subcontracts; coordinate with contracts administration and purchasing on policies and procedures
- May sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within authority
- Support development of subcontract policies and procedures
- Collaborate with teams to ensure program milestones and supplier performance meet requirements
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in Supply Chain Management (Procurement, Subcontract Administration/Management, Negotiation, or Category Management)
- Relationship-building with peers, leadership, and suppliers
- Positive, enthusiastic attitude and teamwork
- Strategic communication (written, verbal, and presentations) to senior stakeholders
- Experience with SAP
- Knowledge of FAR/DFAR
