You'll plan laboratory and field experiments, develop diagnostics, and interpret results to drive design iterations. This position offers hands-on lab and field experiences and the opportunity to shape next-generation energy and microwave solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and test pulsed-power devices and HPM sources and systems (generators, switches, trigger systems, NLTLs, antennas)
  • Plan and execute lab and field tests, define objectives, procedures, and document results
  • Create high-speed diagnostic and data-acquisition systems for pulsed-power and HPM characterization
  • Develop measurement techniques for HV, HC, HF, and fast-transient systems
  • Analyze data to identify performance and failure modes to guide iterations
  • Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, RF/microwave, and test engineers to integrate complex systems
  • Support lab and field operations including setup, troubleshooting, and test execution
  • Document designs, tests, results, and recommendations through reports and presentations
Key requirements
