Overview As Principal Industrial Water Wastewater Consultant, you lead growth in the Mining sector while delivering expert design for water and wastewater projects. You will be a key client-facing seller and a technical lead shaping large capital projects. You'll mentor teams, coordinate multi-disciplinary work, and develop proposals to win new business. This role blends business development with hands-on engineering to drive sustainable solutions at scale.

Responsibilities- Lead business development to win mining sector projects and strengthen client relationships
- Prepare proposals, abstracts, and technical papers; lead client meetings and interviews
- Collaborate with regional, national, and global account teams to grow industrial water/wastewater portfolio
- Serve as Mining Sector wastewater SME and mentor staff on mining operations and treatment needs
- Lead planning, design, and construction of industrial water/wastewater treatment and recycle plants
- Coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering teams and oversee design basis, calculations, drawings reviews, and specifications
- Manage technical coordination on large or high-risk projects
Key requirements- 20+ years of industrial water/wastewater experience
- Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering or related field
- Experience across engineering, project management, sustainability, sales/marketing, and mining
- Strong mining sector knowledge and network; experience with multinational clients
- Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred)
- Experience in regional or national roles and cross-team collaboration
