Overview In this role you drive defensible ESI management for litigation, investigations, and regulatory requests within KBR's in-house Legal team. You lead end-to-end eDiscovery, digital forensics, and DSAR responses, collaborating with IT, Compliance, HR, and outside counsel. You'll oversee eDiscovery platforms and ensure evidence integrity across matters and regulatory workflows. The position sits in a company preparing for a spin-off, offering a strategic, cross-functional impact in a mission-focused tech environment.

Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end eDiscovery lifecycle (identification, preservation, collection, processing, review, production)
- Liaise with Legal, IT, InfoSec, Compliance, HR, outside counsel, and vendors on eDiscovery and forensics
- Conduct and oversee digital forensics investigations with proper chain-of-custody and admissibility
- Perform endpoint and data-source forensic analysis to identify and preserve evidence
- Support investigations involving employee misconduct and data loss in collaboration with HR, Compliance, and Cybersecurity
- Manage DSARs and regulatory data access/deletion responses
- Oversee eDiscovery platform administration (Microsoft Purview eDiscovery Premium, Relativity)
- Provide clear reporting and recommendations to attorneys and business leaders
- Monitor developments in eDiscovery law, forensics, and technologies to maintain defensible practices
- Support special projects and legal operations initiatives
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Legal Studies, or related field; Master's preferred
- 7-10+ years of experience in eDiscovery, digital forensics, or litigation support
- Experience supporting corporate investigations or legal departments
- Forensic certifications such as EnCE, CCE, CFCE, or equivalent
- Hands-on experience with digital forensics tools (OpenText EnCase)
- Proficiency with eDiscovery platforms (Microsoft Purview eDiscovery Premium, Relativity)
- Strong knowledge of endpoints, cloud, Microsoft 365; defensible evidence handling; chain-of-custody
- Strong communication skills (ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences)
