Overview In this role, you independently manage drafting and negotiation of high value sales transactions, guiding executive and non executive stakeholders through complex deals. You will lead cross functional coordination, applying strong transactional, risk, and financial judgment in a fast paced environment. Your work shapes strategic commercial outcomes and mitigates risk across GF's business. You'll partner with diverse teams to close meaningful agreements and support GF's growth in a global market.
Responsibilities- Negotiate with customers and internal clients to close deals
- Develop and apply negotiation and risk based strategies aligned with business objectives
- Advise multiple business functions on contract terms, risk, and legal implications
- Draft, review, and ensure timely, concise contract documents
- Provide guidance and leadership to fellow lawyers, paralegals, and contracts staff
- Support cross functional and cross border collaboration; travel as needed
Key requirements- J.D. or equivalent law degree
- 10+ years in a sophisticated commercial transactions practice within a law firm or corporate setting
- Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Strong written and verbal communication across all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to work in cross functional and geographically diverse teams
- Willingness to travel up to 10%
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Experience with risk and financial analysis in contract contexts
- Office based role in specified locations (Austin, TX; Richardson, TX; Malta, NY; Essex Junction, VT)
