Overview As a Sourcing Recruiter within Weatherford's TA-COE in Houston, you will proactively identify and engage talent for engineering, operations, manufacturing, and leadership roles. You'll build pipelines, map markets, and deliver insights that inform hiring strategies in a competitive labor market. You work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure access to high-quality candidates and support workforce planning. Your role helps shape Weatherford's talent ecosystem and employer brand through proactive sourcing and relationship-building. Responsibilities- Partner with Senior Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and HR Business Partners to align on hiring priorities and talent needs
- Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies for engineering, operations, manufacturing, technical, corporate, and leadership roles
- Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for recurring, critical, and hard-to-fill positions
- Conduct talent mapping, competitor analysis, and labor market research to identify target pools and communities
- Leverage multiple sourcing channels (LinkedIn Recruiter, associations, networking events, referrals, internal databases)
- Engage passive candidates through personalized outreach and relationship-building
- Conduct initial screening to assess fit and interest for role requirements
- Present qualified candidate slates with market intelligence to Senior Recruiters
- Track sourcing activity, pipeline health, and engagement metrics
- Develop talent communities to support future hiring needs and workforce planning
- Provide labor market intelligence, compensation trends, and talent availability analyses for strategy and planning
- Support employer branding by promoting Weatherford opportunities and EVP
- Maintain accurate candidate records in ORC and TA systems
- Continuously evaluate sourcing tools and best practices to improve pipelines
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years in talent sourcing, recruiting, executive search, or talent intelligence
- Proven success sourcing technical, engineering, operations, manufacturing, corporate, or leadership talent
- Strong research, talent mapping, and market intelligence capabilities
- Experience engaging passive candidates and building long-term pipelines
- Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms/tools
- Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to manage multiple searches in a fast-paced environment
