Overview

As a Technical Sourcing Recruiter at Skylo, you'll shape and own recruiting pipelines for advanced technical roles. You partner with hiring leaders to translate needs into focused searches and build strong candidate relationships. You'll pinpoint passive talent across software, cloud, embedded, and network domains, guiding candidates from outreach to interview handoffs. Your work directly supports Skylo's mission to extend connectivity through innovative NTN vRAN technology and global growth. This role offers impactful collaboration with technical leaders and a path to scale our talent ecosystem.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with recruiting lead and hiring managers to define candidate profiles and calibrate searches
  • Build pipelines across software engineering, cloud infrastructure, embedded systems, wireless communications, and network engineering
  • Identify and engage passive candidates via LinkedIn, communities, referrals, targeted research, and creative sourcing
  • Write personalized outreach linking a candidate's experience to Skylo's work
  • Conduct initial screens to assess experience, motivations, and practical requirements
  • Deliver clear candidate summaries and smooth handoffs to the recruiting lead
  • Map companies and talent markets to refine requirements and prioritise searches
  • Track pipeline health, outreach response, and conversion to interviews; apply feedback to improve approach
  • Maintain accurate candidate records and nurture relationships for current and future opportunities
  • Broaden reach with diverse candidate pools and sourcing strategies
Key requirements
  • Experience sourcing or recruiting technical talent with successful engagement of passive candidates for specialized roles
  • Ability to interpret technical requirements and evaluate experience beyond job titles
  • Strong research skills including Boolean search and talent mapping
  • Clear, compelling writing and the ability to lead credible conversations with technical candidates
  • Good judgment in candidate fit with evidence-based recommendations
  • Strong organizational skills across multiple searches and shifting priorities
  • Collaborative mindset, openness to feedback, and initiative to drive searches independently
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools
