Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate and supervise on-site activities for DEW and subcontractors
- Attend and contribute to turnover, planning, closeout and pre-construction meetings
- Maintain positive relationships and ensure new employee orientation
- Monitor field performance, deadlines, and budgets; prepare CPM and short-duration schedules
- Submit weekly/daily field reports and communicate field decisions to all stakeholders
- Coach and mentor on-site personnel and conduct performance reviews
- Ensure safety plans and training are followed; conduct weekly safety meetings and audits
- Review and understand plans, specs, subcontracts, and shop drawings; ensure construction complies with drawings and specs
- Oversee quality control programs and documentation across installation stages
- Manage equipment, material handling plans, submittals, and procurement support
- Be proactive in safety, QA, and site cleanliness; enforce OSHA rules and safety culture
- Support project managers with buyout, cost coding, and financial forecasting
- Engage in proposal support, interviews, and company functions
- Plan workforce levels and short-term scheduling to meet project needs
- Review and understand change orders and communicate to affected parties
Key requirements- Extensive supervisory experience in construction
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, costing, and scheduling
- First Aid/CPR certified; 30-hour OSHA certification
- Proven ability to lead teams and achieve results
- Strong planning, organization and multi-priority management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team player
