Overview As a trusted advisor to clients, you guide engagements across financial statements, tax returns, and work papers while ensuring quality and timely delivery. You lead and develop staff, manage multiple client relationships, and contribute to new business opportunities in partnership with senior leadership. You'll shape engagement strategy, budgets, and billing, and foster a collaborative, growth-driven culture. Responsibilities- Serve as client's trusted advisor and communicate solutions to client and team
- Manage engagement deliverables and conduct final engagement reviews for quality control
- Demonstrate strong technical skills across client responsibilities and industry trends
- Understand client organizations, procedures, and policies
- Lead new client development and proposal activities with upper management
- Manage and retain multiple client relationships, engagements, and special projects
- Develop overall engagement budgets and meet charge hour goals
- Oversee billing and realization, explaining variances
- Supervise, train and mentor staff; foster a collaborative team environment
- Participate in practice development activities to generate new business and cross-serves
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of experience in public accounting or related field
- 3 years supervisory experience
- Active CPA or equivalent certification
- Ability to travel based on client and business needs
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Ability to manage all aspects of client engagements
