Overview In this role you will manage and analyze a highly complex book of business as a recognized underwriting expert. You will influence pricing, policy, and endorsement language for high risk cases, while mentoring junior underwriters and collaborating with agencies and brokers. You'll work within CNA systems to execute day to day underwriting with minimal oversight, driving profitability and compliance. Responsibilities- Handle highly complex underwriting risks using diagnostic analysis
- Develop specialized endorsement language for complex risks
- Determine pricing for complex risks in line with compliance
- Advise on underwriting policy and pricing strategy
- Analyze profitability and quality of underwritten risks and present reports to management
- Market CNA products through agencies/brokers and maintain key relationships
- Maintain current knowledge of regulations and industry trends; participate in industry groups as needed
- Mentor less experienced underwriters and support underwriting training
- Utilize CNA systems for daily underwriting activities
- Lead special underwriting projects and presentations

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other business software
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; professional designations preferred
