Overview As a Placement Executive, you partner with Advisors and Directors to deliver high-level service to clients while strengthening relationships with insurance companies. You will assess client needs, design coverage solutions, and negotiate with carriers to obtain optimal terms for complex accounts. Your role involves market analysis, carrier submissions, and proposing tailored insurance programs that meet client objectives. You'll stay current on industry trends and participate in meetings and networking to support client outcomes and firm growth. This role offers meaningful impact through shaping risk transfer solutions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Develop knowledge of insurance products, forms, terms and conditions
- Maintain relationships with key underwriters and the marketplace
- Assess client needs and design coverage solutions; negotiate with carriers
- Market complex client businesses to multiple carriers; manage new and renewal opportunities
- Identify suitable carriers, submit quotes, negotiate favorable terms and prepare proposals
- Stay informed on industry news, products, coverage and technology
- Attend meetings, trainings, and networking events as required
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree preferred / 10 years of related experience
- Active state insurance license required
- Professional designations such as ARM, CPCU, CRM or CIC are a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
