Overview In this role you will lead valuation and modeling initiatives within the Valuation & Modeling team, enabling clients to understand and act on financial and strategic opportunities. You'll work across business combinations, tax valuations, and planning analyses, partnering with stakeholders to deliver clear, evidence-based insights. You will guide and develop junior staff while managing multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment. This position offers the chance to shape valuation practice for a broad range of clients and transactions.
Responsibilities- Perform financial reporting valuations for business combinations (purchase price allocations, enterprise values, intangible assets, legal entities)
- Support impairment analyses for goodwill and indefinite-lived assets for financial reporting
- Conduct valuations for tax purposes across federal, state/local/international matters
- Assist clients with business plan development and strategic investment decisions through valuation analyses
- Lead day-to-day engagement execution, communicate findings clearly, and coach junior team members across multiple projects
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business
- 6+ years of business valuation and intangible asset valuation consulting experience
- Experience applying cost, market, and income valuation approaches and methodologies (e.g., DCF, guideline, excess earnings, relief from royalty, with-and-without, CAPM)
- Experience building financial models to value entities and assets and conducting analyses
- Experience preparing and reviewing valuation reports and client deliverables; proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Experience supervising, training, and developing junior staff; ability to travel 30%
