Responsibilities- Oversee Financial Products Underwriting operations, improve workflow efficiency and productivity
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the Production Underwriting team
- Assess underwritten risk quality and volume; produce actionable reports
- Leverage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive profitable growth
- Oversee policy renewals and modifications; recommend improvements and risk mitigations
- Ensure exceptional customer service through monitoring and improvement of service levels and customer experience
- Oversee underwriting rules, rating guidelines, and regulatory compliance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements- Bachelor or Master's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
- 10-15 years of surety underwriting experience
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience
- Completion of or progress toward a professional designation preferred
