Overview In this role, you will underwrite real estate title insurance commitments and policies for residential New York properties and commercial transactions. Responsibilities- Provide underwriting support, counsel, and authorization for title insurance commitments and policies for residential NY properties and commercial transactions
- Apply underwriting standards within delegated authority to approve issuances of title insurance
- Offer guidance to staff on real estate settlement services and processes
Key requirements- 3 years title underwriting experience (residential NY properties and commercial transactions preferred)
- Familiarity with New York condominium transactions
- Knowledge of real estate law
- Strong analytical rigor and business acumen
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills with multi-tasking and timely follow-up
- High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred
