Overview In this role you will lead site HR efforts to attract, develop, and retain talent while upholding safety and compliance. You will partner with plant leaders to build staffing pipelines and drive performance and recognition initiatives. You will coach supervisors on difficult conversations, manage employee relations, investigations, and ethics training, and ensure fair compensation analysis. This position sits at the intersection of people, culture, and operational excellence, shaping a high-performing, safety-first shop floor.
Responsibilities- Manage site recruiting: sourcing, screening, hiring, onboarding
- Partner with leaders to assess workforce needs and build pipelines, engage with local schools
- Coach supervisory teams on performance conversations, feedback, corrective actions, root-cause analysis
- Build credible HR presence among shop floor employees emphasizing trust and respect
- Handle employee relations issues and investigations per federal/state laws
- Lead monthly recognition programs including planning, budgeting, and feedback collection
- Monitor hourly pay program, conduct compensation analysis, support merit cycle preparation
- Interpret policies, participate in audits, conduct ethics training
- Consult with HR peers on non-routine inquiries for regional alignment
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Business Administration or comparable field
- 5+ years progressive HR management experience, preferably in manufacturing
- SHRM certification preferred
- Proven experience handling complex employee relations with confidentiality
- Knowledge of Georgia labor law, EEO, and compensation analysis
- Experience with large HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
- Change management skills to influence organizational change
