Job Responsibilities
- Manage post-operative cardiothoracic surgery patients (ICU and floor)
- Conduct daily rounds and coordinate multidisciplinary care
- Perform pre-operative physical exams and evaluations
- Remove sutures and manage surgical wound care
- Diagnose and treat adult and geriatric patients
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing
- Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans
- Participate in structured call rotation
Qualifications
- NCCPA Certified Physician Assistant
- Active or eligible for Ohio State licensure
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Cardiothoracic or cardiac surgery experience required
- Strong autonomous clinical decision-making skills
- Clean professional and malpractice background
