POSITION TITLE: Operator
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Production Supervisor
PAY STRUCTURE: Hourly
PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION: Produce horns, compressors, and other components per customer requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Good reading, writing, communication, and math skills are necessary for following written instructions and completing required documentation.
- Ability to read/understand bills of material
- 1 -2 years' light assembly experience preferred.
- Awareness and understanding of proper procedures to ensure safe use of assembly.
- Attention to detail and sense of urgency to meet customer needs
- Work with minimal supervision individual and as a team
- Computer literate
- No known allergies to glue/paint/silicone
- Ability to lift 40# without assistance
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Build truck components per the customer requirements and quality systems
- Compliance to standardized work using first/last piece inspection, audit log, work instructions and other processes to ensure consistent quality and productivity.
- Clean and maintain work area per cleanliness/5S standards
- Comply with all safety regulations including personal protective equipment
Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:30pm
40 hours per week with potential OT
