Caregiver Position Available - Avoca, WI
We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated caregiver to provide support for an individual who is compassionate, values helping others, and enjoys meaningful connections. The ideal candidate will be dependable, caring, and committed to promoting the individual's independence, well-being, and quality of life.
Location
Avoca, WI
Schedule
3 hours per day, twice per week
Wednesday is required
Second day is flexible based on caregiver availability
Compensation
$17.74 per hour
Mileage reimbursement
Bonus Opportunity - Up to $500
Complete Wisconsin's free Certified Direct Care Professional (CDCP) certification and earn:
$250 bonus upon certification completion
Additional $250 bonus after working with the client for six months
Responsibilities
Housekeeping assistance, including:
Kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom cleaning
Trash removal
Floor care
Changing bedding
Laundry assistance (on-site in building)
Standby assistance during bathing (no hands-on bathing required)
Meal preparation and assistance with ready-to-heat meals
Bringing in grocery deliveries and putting items away
Running occasional errands, including pharmacy pickups
Transportation to medical appointments in the Dodgeville and Muscoda areas, including assistance with a wheelchair and portable oxygen tank
Requirements
Valid driver's license
Reliable vehicle and current auto insurance
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Authorization to work in the United States
