NOW HIRING: Remote Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technician
A-Line Staffing is hiring 50 experienced Prior Authorization Pharmacy Technicians for a 100% remote opportunity working for a Fortune 100 pharmacy benefit management organization.
This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and have prior experience supporting prior authorization processes remotely.
Position Highlights:
- 100% Remote
- Pay Rate: $20/hour
- Shift: 8-hour shift between hours of 8am - 8pm CST; mandatory OT
- Training: Monday-Friday for approximately 6 weeks
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound calls from providers, pharmacies, and members
- Provide professional support through the prior authorization process
- Accurately document all interactions and case details
- Escalate clinical questions to pharmacists
- Process prior authorizations via fax and electronic systems (ePA)
- Perform outbound calls and manage department email inquiries
- Support additional administrative duties as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a high-volume call center or remote (health plan, PBM, specialty pharmacy or prior authorization required)
- Active Pharmacy Technician license or national certification preferred
- Strong computer skills (including word processing and spreadsheets)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High-speed internet and a quiet, distraction-free remote workspace
