Pediatric Private Duty Nurse (RN/LPN) - Trach & G-Tube - Oviedo, FL

The Opportunity We're building a dedicated care team for a sweet infant in Oviedo who is coming home from the hospital. He has a complex congenital heart condition and a genetic syndrome, and he will need a tracheostomy and G-tube at home. We'll provide 24/7 private-duty nursing coverage starting on or around
October 29, 2026. This is a chance to make a real difference for a family during an important transition and to provide consistent, one-on-one care.
Shifts Available - Days: 7a-7p
- Nights: 7p-7a
- Full-time, part-time, and weekend options
Responsibilities - Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in the home according to the plan of care
- Perform tracheostomy care, including suctioning, trach site care, and emergency trach changes
- Manage G-tube feedings, medications, and site care
- Monitor cardiac and respiratory status, recognize changes, and respond appropriately
- Administer medications and document care accurately in our EMR
- Communicate with the family, the Director of Nursing, and the care team
- Support and educate the family as they learn to care for their child at home
Requirements
- Active Florida RN or LPN license (or compact license)
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Pediatric trach experience strongly preferred (PICU, NICU, home health, or PDN)
- G-tube experience preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Compassionate, dependable, and calm under pressure
