Pharmacy Technician - Specialty Pharmacy

- $21-$23 per hour Monday-Friday No Weekends Onsite

Looking for a Pharmacy Technician position with a great weekday schedule? We're hiring Pharmacy Technicians to join a busy specialty production pharmacy team in Oakland Gardens, NY!
This is a great opportunity for detail-oriented individuals who enjoy working behind the scenes to help ensure patients receive their medications accurately and on time.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Fill, label, package, and prepare prescription medications
- Assist pharmacists with processing and fulfilling prescriptions
- Prepare blister packs and unit-dose medications
- Organize, stock, and maintain medication inventory
- Verify prescription accuracy and patient information
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
- Assist with inventory counts and quality checks
- Communicate with team members and occasionally assist with patient calls
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 0-3 years of pharmacy technician experience preferred. Entry-level candidates with at least 1 year of customer service or healthcare experience are encouraged to apply!
- Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB, CPhT, or similar) preferred but not required
- Pharmacy Technician license or willingness to obtain one, as applicable
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced pharmacy environment
SCHEDULE & PAY:
- Pay: $21-$23 per hour
- Location: Oakland Gardens, NY (Onsite)
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM-7:30 PM
- Weekends: None!
