Location:Texas
  • Start Date: February 3, 2027
  • Schedule: 4 6 shifts per month
  • Shift: 24-hour in-house call, 7:00 AM 7:00 AM
  • Compensation: $4,500 per 24-hour shift

Position Highlights
  • 24-hour in-house OB/GYN Hospitalist coverage
  • No office call responsibilities
  • CNMs take first call
  • Work alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team
  • In-house Neonatologist
  • 24/7 Anesthesia coverage
  • OB/GYN Hospitalists, CNMs, and Family Medicine Physicians on staff
  • Epic EMR


Clinical Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients in the Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED)
  • Manage care for unassigned OB/GYN patients
  • Monitor labor and interpret fetal heart tracings
  • Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
  • Serve as the primary safety net for the Labor & Delivery unit
  • Provide pregnancy-related and gynecologic consultations to the ED and medical floors
  • Evaluate and treat postpartum patients prior to discharge
  • Respond to obstetrical emergencies and evolving labor complications
  • Participate in emergency drills and quality improvement initiatives
  • Follow evidence-based protocols and patient safety standards


Required Experience

  • Candidates must have recent experience with:
  • Vaginal deliveries
  • Cesarean sections
  • Emergency obstetrical procedures
  • Facility Overview
  • Hospital is a 369-bed acute care and surgical facility serving the Arlington community for more than 60 years.

Facility Highlights:

  • Approximately 1,300 1,500 births annually
  • 20-bed Level III NICU
  • Private maternity suites
  • Two cesarean birth suites
  • Dedicated antepartum area for high-risk pregnancies
  • Educational resources and classes for new parents
  • Qualifications
  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Completion of an accredited ACGME OB/GYN residency
  • Robotics training
  • Current Texas Medical License or willingness to obtain
  • Recent delivery and surgical experience required
