PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
  • Management of deliveries (vaginal and cesarean)
  • Antepartum and postpartum care
  • Routine gynecological surgeries
  • Level II nursery care for newborns
  • Emergency OB/GYN procedures
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology (ABOG)
  • Licenses: Active SC License, DEA
  • DEA / CDS: Active DEA required
  • Experience: Residency trained in Obstetrics & Gynecology; EPIC experience required
  • Other Qualifications: Current EPIC experience, must complete MUSC hospital modules and EPIC personalization
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide 24-hour call coverage for OB/GYN services, including inpatient and emergency cases.
  • Manage deliveries (approximately 30-50 per month) and perform cesarean sections as needed.
  • Provide comprehensive care for antepartum, postpartum, and gynecological patients.
  • Perform routine and emergency gynecological surgeries in the OR.
  • Supervise and collaborate with NP and midwife support staff for non-call duties.
