  • No. of Beds in Department: 19 labor and delivery rooms, 34 mother-baby recovery rooms

  • Specialty Backup Available: Anesthesia, Surgery, OB Hospitalists
REQUIRED PROCEDURES
  • OB triage and emergency management
  • Labor management
  • Vaginal deliveries
  • Cesarean sections
  • ED consults
  • Surgical assists
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Licenses: Active Texas Medical License
  • Board: Board Certified OBGYN
  • DEA: Active Texas DEA
  • Experience: Minimum 50 vaginal deliveries and 10 C-sections in the past year
  • Other Qualifications: Must submit case logs with submission
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide OB triage and emergency management
  • Manage labor and perform vaginal and C-section deliveries
  • Conduct ED consults for obstetrics/gynecology
  • Provide surgical assists for C-sections and other procedures
  • Serve as backup call for Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs)
