Overview As a Sr Health Actuarial Consultant, you will lead client engagements around employers' health benefits strategies, including financial projections and plan design optimization. You will be the primary financial contact for clients and guide analysts and associates. You will deliver actuarial analyses, support renewal negotiations, and drive data-driven recommendations. Responsibilities- Lead routine client engagements covering service delivery, strategy, financial evaluations, plan design, renewal and benchmarking activities
- Review analyses performed by junior staff to ensure actuarial soundness and mentor their development
- Leverage AI and technology-enabled tools to enhance work processes
- Perform and review complex cost projections using Excel, SAS, and other software; may specialize in healthcare-related insurance areas
- Draft and review client reports or presentations to summarize findings and recommendations
Key requirements- BA/BS degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, finance, economics, or related field
- Minimum 4 years' actuarial experience with health and benefits consulting
- Progress toward ASA designation

- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
