What You'll Do
- Operate a variety of farm and agricultural equipment safely and efficiently
- Haul manure and agricultural products as needed
- Operate silage carts and silage trucks during harvest operations
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Grease and service equipment to ensure proper operation
- Complete required paperwork accurately and on time
- Work closely with other operators and management to complete daily tasks
- Travel to job sites when required
What We're Looking For
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience operating farm equipment
- Dump truck or tractor-trailer experience
- Mechanical aptitude and basic equipment maintenance knowledge
- Agricultural background or experience
Schedule & Hours
This position offers steady, year-round employment. Due to the seasonal nature of agriculture, employees should expect:
- Average of 60-70 hours per week
- Increased hours during planting, harvest, and other peak seasons
- Flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, and extended shifts when needed
- Occasional travel for work assignments
